It’s a dark and stormy night. You’re standing in the orange glow of a street lamp wearing your usual fedora hat and trench coat. A black car rolls up with the headlights turned off. You’re not surprised. You’ve been expecting him. The occupant of the back seat hands you an envelope. You can’t make out his face in the shadows. As the car drives off, you casually open the envelope. You unfold the paper revealing the response to your pen pal letter that you wrote. Your pal has answered your questions about how they are, who their best friend is, and where they’re from. Additionally, they also ask you what your phone number is.
